LI HOME BUILDERS CARE INC
Because the L.I. homebuilding industry cares about it’s communities and has unique construction expertise, skilled manpower and material resources, Long Island Home Builders Care, Inc. was created to apply the builder’s construction capability to directly assist families or individuals, who are otherwise unable to overcome special life challenges or to enhance community facilities which otherwise could not adequately serve such persons.
As a group we look for projects that will reach out and touch as many members within a community as possible.

Home Builders Care encompasses the philosophy of community outreach activities conducted by builders and home builder associations across the nation. Each year, the home building industry contributes millions of dollars in cash, building materials, supplies, and countless volunteer hours to community charities through local community service projects.
Members make a difference everyday in their communities through:
- Construction, repair, renovation, and beautification projects
- Student scholarships and grants
- Charitable fundraising
- Rebuilding after natural disasters
- Toy, food, clothing, and blood drives
In response to what will be an overwhelming need for permanent shelter and in the tradition of Home Builders Care, the National Housing Endowment have established the Home Builders Care/National Housing Endowment-Tsunami Shelter Fund to raise desperately needed funds to meet this important need. Learn more about how you can contribute to the fund.
